Why does our side-passage generator shut down after twenty minutes?
Almost always heat: in a narrow passage the canopy breathes its own exhaust, and anything stacked on it blocks the intake. We restore the airflow and check thermostat, fan and coolant; see overheating.
Who do you deal with at a block of flats?
Whoever the trustees appoint, usually the managing agent: one contact books us, approves the quotation and gets a report confirming the lifts, pumps and gate came back, written for the minutes.
Do you repair small petrol generators in Fleurhof?
Yes. Most portable faults are stale petrol, a gummed carburettor, a fouled plug or an overload. Never run one indoors or in a closed garage, and never feed it into a wall socket; see petrol generators.
Why does our Stormill workshop set, run on drum diesel, keep stalling?
Drum diesel collects water and dirt, which blocks the filter and starves the injection pump mid-shift. We sample drum and tank, drain the water, change filters and bleed the lines; see fuel system repairs.
