Our Menlyn Maine building has offices and apartments on one set. Does that change the service?
It changes the test. We run the set under the load it carries at night, when lifts and pumps start together, as well as during office hours, so the changeover and voltage are proven for both.
Our office block set ran most days during load shedding. Is it due early?
Probably. Two or three slots a day add up to hundreds of hours a quarter, so check the hour meter: if it has reached the manual’s interval, the service is due whatever the calendar says.
